재난 및 안전관리 기본법 제48조(지역통제단장의 응급조치 등)

① 지역통제단장은 긴급구조를 위하여 필요하면 중앙대책본부장, 시ㆍ도지사(시ㆍ도대책본부가 운영되는 경우에는 해당 본부장을 말한다. 이하 이 조에서 같다) 또는 시장ㆍ군수ㆍ구청장(시ㆍ군ㆍ구대책본부가 운영되는 경우에는 해당 본부장을 말한다. 이하 이 조에서 같다)에게 제37조, 제38조의2, 제39조 및 제44조에 따른 응급대책을 요청할 수 있고, 중앙대책본부장, 시ㆍ도지사 또는 시장ㆍ군수ㆍ구청장은 특별한 사유가 없으면 요청에 따라야 한다. <개정 2013.8.6, 2016.1.7>

② 지역통제단장은 제37조에 따른 응급조치 및 제40조부터 제43조까지와 제45조에 따른 응급대책을 실시하였을 때에는 이를 즉시 해당 시장ㆍ군수ㆍ구청장에게 통보하여야 한다. 다만, 인명구조 및 응급조치 등 긴급한 대응이 필요한 경우에는 우선 조치한 후에 통보할 수 있다. <개정 2020.6.9>
