주민등록법 시행령 제19조(위임에 따른 신고)

① 법 제11조제1항 단서 또는 같은 조 제2항 단서에 따라 세대주 또는 재외국민 본인의 위임을 받아 신고하려는 사람은 신고서에 세대주 또는 재외국민 본인의 서명이나 날인을 받고 세대주 또는 재외국민 본인의 신분증명서를 제시하여야 한다. 이 경우 재외국민 본인의 위임을 받아 신고하는 경우에는 신고대상자의 입국 여부를 확인할 수 있는 자료를 함께 제출하여야 하되, 재외국민 본인이 「전자정부법」 제36조제1항에 따른 행정정보의 공동이용을 통한 출입국에 관한 사실증명 자료의 확인에 동의하는 경우에는 그 확인으로 해당 자료의 제출을 갈음할 수 있다. <개정 2008.2.29, 2013.3.23, 2014.11.19, 2014.12.31, 2017.7.26, 2017.11.28>

② 제1항에 따른 신고를 받은 공무원은 신고한 사람이 법 제11조제1항제3호에 따라 세대주의 위임을 받은 사람인 경우에는 신분증명서와 제적등본이나 가족관계기록사항에 관한 증명서를 통하여 신고한 사람이 다음 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하는 사람임을 확인하여야 한다. <개정 2009.8.13, 2014.12.31>
