국민투표법 제56조(국외투표운동 방법에 관한 특례)

① 재외투표권자(재외투표인명부등에 올라 있거나 오를 자격이 있는 사람을 말한다. 이하 같다)를 대상으로 하는 투표운동은 다음 각 호에서 정한 방법으로만 할 수 있다.

② 제1항제3호에 따른 방송연설은 텔레비전 및 라디오 방송시설별로 각 5회 이내로 할 수 있다.

③ 방송시설을 관리 또는 운영하는 사람은 자신의 부담으로 제33조제1항에 따른 국민투표토론회를 중계방송할 수 있다.

④ 「공직선거법」 제218조의14제6항 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하는 단체의 상근 임직원 및 이들 단체의 대표자는 재외투표권자를 대상으로 투표운동을 할 수 없다.

⑤ 제25조에도 불구하고 단체(그 대표자와 임직원 또는 구성원을 포함한다)는 그 단체의 명의 또는 그 대표의 명의로 재외투표권자를 대상으로 투표운동을 할 수 없다.

⑥ 중앙선거관리위원회는 국민투표에 관한 정보를 재외투표인 및 국외부재자신고인(이하 "재외투표인등"이라 한다)에게 알리기 위하여 제20조에 따른 국민투표공보를 다음 각 호의 방법으로 재외투표인등에게 제공하여야 한다.
