Animal Protection Act, Article 95 (Collection and Use of Animal Protection Information)

① 농림축산식품부장관은 동물의 생명보호, 안전 보장 및 복지 증진과 건전하고 책임 있는 사육문화를 조성하기 위하여 다음 각 호의 정보(이하 "동물보호정보"라 한다)를 수집하여 체계적으로 관리하여야 한다.

③ 농림축산식품부장관은 동물보호정보의 수집을 위하여 관계 중앙행정기관의 장, 시ㆍ도지사 또는 시장ㆍ군수ㆍ구청장, 경찰관서의 장 등에게 필요한 자료를 요청할 수 있다. 이 경우 관계 중앙행정기관의 장, 시ㆍ도지사 또는 시장ㆍ군수ㆍ구청장, 경찰관서의 장 등은 정당한 사유가 없으면 요청에 응하여야 한다.

④ 시ㆍ도지사 및 시장ㆍ군수ㆍ구청장은 동물의 보호 또는 동물학대 발생 방지를 위하여 필요한 경우 국가동물보호정보시스템에 등록된 관련 정보를 농림축산식품부장관에게 요청할 수 있다. 이 경우 정보활용의 목적과 필요한 정보의 범위를 구체적으로 기재하여 요청하여야 한다.
